I joined Se7en initially because I loved the idea of weekly breath work sessions. I had previously done a couple and each time they brought stuff up for me that I had been keeping in. I knew that I needed to continue to explore that. I was already on a mission of self discovery in 2024, learning to try to love and accept myself. I was a bit nervous to join a bunch of people I didn’t know, and to join a new program I knew nothing about. But I dared myself to jump out of my comfort zone and just try it. Each week we were given an emotion to focus on, a challenge to pursue, some focused movement and the week begun with breath work based on that some weeks were easier on me than others because certain emotions, like grief, I would have my walls up. However, each week I broke them down little by little. It was really challenging on my emotions, but in such a positive way. One thing that was surprising to me was the bunch of women from all different backgrounds who came together and virtually wrapped our arms around each other. It was a support group really. The biggest impact the program had on me was the way I was able to tune in closer to what I was truly feeling, and have been able to continue to do after the program finished. When I have those ‘not great days’ I’m able to really focus on what I am actually feeling, and why and then work on that. I feel like I learned so much about myself in this process. I will always be a work in progress by Se7en has given me so much education on who I am and how to accept me. Enter You sent I would recommend the program to those who feel a bit lost in themselves, who struggle with worrying about what others think, for those transitioning between different phases of life and those that don’t feel like they belong anywhere.

I joined Megan’s Seven program because I needed to help myself. I was exhausting my energy on a lot of people to the point where I was constantly in fight/flight mode. My body was letting me know but I wasn’t listening to it. I was constantly tired, forcing myself out of bed each day. Every small task was overwhelming like what to cook for tea or leaving the house. Something had to change because I wasn’t living. I wanted to feel in control of my thoughts and emotions so I was committed to the change through this program and it was the best this I have ever done for myself. Putting myself first every Sunday for 30minutes was hard at first but soon became apparent that I needed these to connect with my body. The daily rituals were also a challenge at first however the supportive, non judgmental ladies within the group quickly changed my mindset that reflecting on how I was feeling was healing me. I loved the movement. Megan’s videos were so easy to follow and she gave us alternatives to challenge ourselves or be gentle, depending on how we felt in our body. The breath was my favourite really connecting with the emotion. I constantly use this multiple times a day, depending on what my body needs. My head no longer controls me. I have my energy back and when I don’t I now have the tools Megan has taught me.
